Last updated 13 October 2026. This is a plain-English alpha version and is being reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
Save My Secrets is run by Alamex Ltd. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice. The alpha is free and open by invitation only.
During the alpha we hold a release key so we can pass vaults to nominees. We explain what that means on our privacy page.
If you ask for access to a vault, you must be the person named and tell the truth. Requests are checked automatically, with no human review. Trying to get into someone else's vault is fraud and we will report it. We contact the owner as soon as a request starts, and one response from them closes it.
We release a vault only when the checks the owner chose have been passed and the owner has not responded within their final check period. These checks are carried out by software. We can't promise they will always reach the right outcome, and a vault may be released if an owner is unable to respond for reasons other than death. Choose your check-in and follow-up periods with that in mind.
Once nominee questions are live, a vault can only be opened with the answers. If none of your nominees can answer, the vault cannot be recovered, by anyone, including us. That is deliberate.
We will run the service with reasonable care and skill. Because the alpha is free and experimental, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by information you chose to store against our advice not to store anything mission critical. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing savemysecrets@alamex.com from the address on your account. We may close accounts that break these terms. If we close the service, we will give you at least 90 days' notice by email.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts.
